Terms of Service

Plain-language summary: Vendkom is a marketplace that connects organizers with vendors — we're not the caterer, photographer, or bartender ourselves. We vet who joins, help with logistics, and take a commission on bookings, but the actual event service is a deal between you and the vendor (or you and the organizer). Be honest, be professional, and don't abuse the platform.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using vendkom.com or submitting a form on it, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What Vendkom is

Vendkom is a platform that connects event organizers ("Organizers") with independent vendor businesses ("Vendors") — caterers, photographers, videographers, and other event service providers. Vendkom is not a party to the service agreement between an Organizer and a Vendor: we facilitate the introduction, vet Vendors before they're listed, and assist with logistics, but the actual event service is delivered by the Vendor directly to the Organizer.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Vendkom, whether as an Organizer or a Vendor.

4. Organizers

Using Vendkom to find and book vendors is free for Organizers.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the event details you provide.
Payment terms for a specific booking are agreed directly with the Vendor, unless otherwise stated.

5. Vendors

Vendors must apply and be reviewed before being listed on Vendkom. We may decline or remove any vendor at our discretion, including after they're live, if standards aren't met.
Vendors choose a plan (Starter, Growth, or Pro) with an associated monthly fee (if any) and commission percentage per booking, as described on our Pricing page.
Vendors are responsible for holding any licenses, permits, insurance, or certifications required for their trade (e.g. food safety permits for caterers) under Jordanian law.
Vendors are independent businesses, not employees, partners, or agents of Vendkom.

6. Fees & payment

Current plans and commission rates are listed on our Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice to active Vendors. Commission applies only to bookings made through Vendkom.

7. No guarantee of outcome

We vet Vendors before listing them, but we don't guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any specific booking. Disputes about the service itself (quality, delivery, damages) are between the Organizer and the Vendor; we'll assist in good faith where we reasonably can, but we're not liable for how a Vendor performs.

8. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information in a listing or request
Use Vendkom to circumvent agreed fees once a booking has been introduced through the platform
Harass, defraud, or abuse other users
Use the site in a way that violates applicable law

9. Intellectual property

The Vendkom name, logo, and site content are owned by Vendkom. Vendors retain ownership of their own photos, descriptions, and business content submitted to the platform, and grant Vendkom a license to display them on the site for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Vendkom is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vendkom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any booking made through it.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Vendkom for any account that violates these terms. You may stop using Vendkom, or request removal of a Vendor listing, at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Amman, Jordan.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Vendkom grows. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes affecting active Vendors, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify directly.
